1. Manufacturers Alliance Foundation and Stalwartsoft Release Industry Progress Report on Carbon Neutral Goals

The industrial sector consumes more than half of the energy and produces a fifth of the greenhouse gasses worldwide, giving the sector a significant opportunity to support the climate plan. A new report from the Manufacturers Alliance Foundation and Stalwartsoft, "Delivery on the Carbon Neutral Goal", outlines the progress manufacturers have made to date in reducing carbon emissions in three areas: direct emissions, indirect emissions from purchase of electricity and indirect materials from the manufacturer's value chain. The report also shares strategies for how manufacturers can continue to reduce emissions and provides examples of manufacturing leaders across sectors at different stages of their journey to carbon neutrality.

"The manufacturing sector is an important contributor to reducing our global carbon footprint," says Stephen Gold, president and CEO of the Manufacturers Alliance. "This report sheds light on where US manufacturers are today and how they can continue to support sustainability and growth."

Results include Manufacturers are exploring how to expand their carbon footprint.

The aerospace and automotive industries lead the pack with more than 30% of respondents (more than double the other industries surveyed) saying they are pursuing all three aerospace sectors. 94 percent of respondents said that it is difficult to measure the carbon footprint of products, because only 28% have a system to track the carbon footprint of their products.

Digital technology has been identified as key to air monitoring, with four stages of maturity in digital transport. Accountants use the data to track and analyze emissions.

2. A new e-commerce platform for direct sales
Stalwartsoft's Cutting-Edge E-Commerce Enabled Direct-to-Customer Marketing A challenge

The client needs an e-commerce platform that can support a distribution network that accepts and sells directly to B2B/B2C customers. The platform also aims to support customer- and product-specific pricing, discounts and rebates, guaranteed ship dates, and self-service registration for new customers. They were looking for a partner to help them set up a platform and decided to take Stalwartsoft on board.

The solution

Stalwartsoft designed and developed an e-commerce solution based on SAP Hybris and integrated with SAP Order Management (SCM) and SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM). This integration enables marketing, loyalty management, customer relations, marketing planning and discounting. We also developed an electronic catalog system that allowed customers to search using product compatibility features. This process enabled inventory verification based on Global Available to Promise (GATP) and distribution centers, thus contributing to inventory optimization and profitability. We moved to a platform with Adobe for website management and customer branding sites. To make it easier for end customers, we have also developed an e-learning solution using SAP SuccessFactors that enables customers to register online and receive technical training for products

Value

The new e-commerce platform enabled direct sales to the customer and reduced lead time from 12 days to 3 days

E-commerce games are able to handle 10 times more customers than before

The platform now supports more than 6 million online catalog parts for better inventory management and manages 100 distribution points instead of 5 before

3. Global integration works well for large car carriers
Stalwartsoft helps clients achieve their business goals by managing the delivery and support for the deployment of global enterprise solutions.
3A challenge

The client was struggling with legacy infrastructure that was hindering its performance. The time it takes to process a policy affects customer satisfaction and affects sales. At the same time, the process is not flexible enough to increase and adapt to business needs. The client wants to adopt a modern, global and interactive solution that can reduce business turnaround time, enable business process optimization and integration, and enable vendor onboarding and reduce their footprint by reducing the process and store. The client was looking for a partner to help replace legacy architecture and infrastructure with the next generation. The partner should provide an investment strategy that contributes to the company's values while reducing the cost of ownership.

The solution
Digital Commerce

Stalwartsoft has partnered with us to build a comprehensive connectivity solution infrastructure and next-generation IT infrastructure to adapt to changing business needs. The goal is to create an enterprise-level workflow rather than end-to-end integration. We replaced the legacy Exchange Tandem architecture and infrastructure with next-generation operating system architecture (SOA).

To do this, we define the SOA map and governance, then design, build and deploy SOA-based solutions. This solution provides a common business process, organization and workflow for the company. A flat design process using the Oracle SOA suite ensures that the interface is flexible and can adapt to changes quickly and with minimal impact. We designed and developed a collective framework for managing project planning and implementation and implemented composite projects using the project management and planning capabilities of Oracle BPEL PM and Oracle ESB. Oracle Service Registry (OSR) is used to publish service metadata and promote reuse. Oracle Web Services Manager (WSM) and Cisco ACE XML Gateway support secure access and management. Oracle's SOA management package helps in monitoring and project management as well as managing exceptions. Alerts and notifications are made through Oracle fault management.

Business impact

The new system provides a connection point for the exchange of information between reseller and OEM hosting systems, making the process flawless and error-free. As a result of this service, the customer can have access to IT resources that are in line with his business vision and help him to better serve his customers. Global integration solutions reduce engagement cycle times and development costs by 10-15%; In addition, the design and optimization of the equipment has also reduced the cost by 15-20%. Reinventing more resources, design models, resources, data, documents, tools and infrastructure improved productivity by 10%.
